A jazz icon’s iconic recording: Elvin Jones Live at the Lighthouse combined with a classic Tee design concept. Elvin Jones, Steve Grossman, Dave Liebman, and Gene Perla released this post-Coltrane Tenor Manifesto in 1972. The Yellow T with the Black Font pays tribute to the Elvin Jones Jazz Machine color scheme. Inspiration to make these Tee's came from Gene Perla's Live at the Lighthouse Tribute Band which plays songs from the record and EJ's Songbook. The material of the Tee is Ring-Spun Cotton. They're very very soft and comfy, like the American Apparel T-shirts. The handprinted design varies from Tee to Tee, giving it a vintage feel and look. |
